Zain Honours Kuwaiti Ambassador to Sudan

    Director General of Zain, Lt. Gen., El-Fatih Orwa held a dinner party in honor of H.E. the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Sudan, Suleiman Abdallah Al-Harbi on the occasion of the end of his tenure in Sudan and to pay a farewell to H.E. the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, Abdullah bin Rashid.

    Orwa praised the performance and achievements of the Kuwaiti Ambassador and his support to the bilateral relations between Sudan and Kuwait, enumerating Kuwait’s mega investment in Sudan and their impact on the socio-economic development in Sudan, indicating that the Sudanese people hold a lot of appreciation to the Kuwaiti people and hope the relations between the two countries will remain exemplary of communication and the official and popular diplomacy.
    For his part, Minister of Defence, Lt. Gen. Abdul Rahim Mohammed Hussein hailed the distinguished relations between Sudan and its sisterly countries with the State of Kuwait in the front, referring to its honourable positions with Sudan and its support to its development projects.
    Kuwaiti Ambassador thanked Zain Company and its leadership, ministers, ambassadors and officials attending the ceremony saying he would remain an Ambassador to Sudan and would convey his knowledge on the generosity and commendable ethics of the wonderful Sudanese people to all forums in which he will work in the future, stressing that Sudan and its people have a special place for the government and the people of Kuwait.
    The ceremony was honoured by the Ministers of Defence, Cabinet Affairs, Telecommunication and Investment in addition to the Minister of Culture in Khartoum state, the Director General of Sudan National Communication Corporation, the Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry and other government officials.
    It was also attended by Ambassadors of each of Saudi Arabia, UAE, and the Sultanate of Oman.
